Alex

I lay down on my bed with my hands behind my head, staring at the ceiling. My mind was racing with Chen-related ideas. The previous incident. He was on the verge of smelling his perfume on his face. Close enough to smell his breath and peer into his soft lips.

“For the sake of our fans and the student council’s charity event, why not show a bit of affection to me, Alex? That’d be fun,” Chen said and winked.

To forget the picture of him leaning closer to my face, I continued to toss and turn.

“You know this is more convincing,” he smirked, whispering in a rich baritone. He was still staring at me, his razor-sharp gaze slaughtering me. Our faces were too near for two males in broad daylight in a public place. “Look.” He cocked his head in her direction. I followed him and noticed that she and her buddy were staring at us. “See?”

I didn’t believe I’d be able to get any sleep tonight. It’s all because of that jerk.
