 Rey felt betrayed once again. He had underestimated her. No, he didn't underestimate her; he was just too blind to see the trap ahead. He was suffering from the effects of the mate bound.

Rey cursed the moon goddess in his heart. Rey felt a special hatred bubbling at the end of his stomach for Diana, also known as the moon goddess. It's a curse she placed on her children that made him vulnerable and blind not to see the trap ahead.
