Chapter 111
Anita’s POV
A migraine followed, and it got stronger and stronger.
But migraines weren’t something new to me—and the stronger the migraine got, the clearer the images that showcased in my head.
“Are you okay?” Cassandra’s voice echoed faintly in my head.
I held out my hand to signal to her that I was fine.
I closed my eyes in the deep snow, which was starting to fall again.
“I built a snowman. Richard was there. I was in New York, for a work meeting.”
That wasn’t all. Before I knew it, my migraines became unbearable, and the last thing I remembered was crashing to the ground and darkness.
“Anita!”
