Richard’s POV
“No, I can’t believe she’s the one!” Ace paced back and forth while I just sat on the couch recklessly rethinking my whole existence.
“But it all makes sense now—how her parents seem to care less about her, the dates correlating!” I pointed out.
“Does she know about this yet?” Ace asked.
How on earth am I supposed to walk up to her and tell her, “Oh, Anita, I think you are my long-lost sister?”
I barely even talk about my family.
“She can’t know about it yet, at least not now!”
“She has to know!”
She is still struggling with regaining her memories back—there was no way she would be ABLE to accommodate all of it at once.
At least we had one case solved.
I excused myself from Ace’s room and decided to check on Anita.
“Hey, where have you been?” Anita giggled and pulled me into the room where she and Logan were literally laughing their hearts out.
