Chapter 153

Madison and Jonathan were patiently waiting for Lila, Nathan and Sia to arrive with the kids. Madison’s fear heightened with every passing second. She could not help it, she could not stop her mind from worrying about what could happen.

If her worry was not visible on her face, it was definitely visible with the way she paced to and fro in the sitting room.

“Come on Maddie, I think you should sit down and take a deep breath.” Jonathan voiced out because of how concerned he was for Madison.

“I can’t,” Madison said to Jonathan. “I can’t just stay at a place if they aren’t back yet.”

Jonathan understood how she was feeling, he tried his best to also make her feel like he understood her.

“Should I get you a glass of water?” Jonathan asked.

“I don’t think I need that now,” Madison hastily declined.

“You don’t know what?” Jonathan scoffed as he asked. He continued. “Maddie! Do you realize that you are pregnant?”

Madison gave it a second thou
