Chapter 193

The clouds had darkened by the time Lucy was done distributing everyone's gifts to them.

“Mummy can you tell me a bed time story?” Kyran asked Lucy.

Lucy smiled as she rubbed his head. 

“Surely my love, I'd do anything for you” 

“Long time ago, there was a little boy just like you. He lived in a farm with his mother. They where poor farmers. This meant sometimes the little boy went to bed hungry”’ Lucy began her story.

“That is awful mom, I can't imagine going to bed hungry, I won't be able to sleep” Kyran stated

“Well thank goodness you can't relate to that, I'd go hungry for days in my time. I lived in the dumpster” Lucy's mother chipped in.

“Oh my goodness, that must be so terrible” Kyran said as he put up a face of disgust.

“Oh it was, it wasn't fun at all. There was rats and all manner of rodents living with us too” Lucy's mother chipped in.
