Lucy's mother looked at Cage who seemed to be doing everything possible to restore the bond that once was.

“It's fine. Why are you here anyways aside dropping Lucy?” She asked.

Cage itched his head a little as he responded.

“Lucy says I could take Kyran to my house for the week so I get to bond with him more” Cage said.

Lucy's mother frowned a bit. But then she thought, with Kyran away she was free. She surely was going to miss his presence but then she could get an alone time. It was still a win for her. She quickly smiled as she looked at Cage.

“That's a very nice idea. I think he'd love it at your place” Lucy's mom said.

“I hope he's comfortable and likes it too” Cage responded smiling.

For Cage her smile meant Progress.

“Well if you have gadgets and tools for him to work with, supervise him too. I don't want my grandson getting injured” Lucy's mom said sternly.
