Chapter 293

Cage tucked his tuxedo properly as Lucy and the rest stood behind him.

“It's time” Cage said.

Lucy's heart was pounded as she tried to adjust the body suit Mira had given her.

“I wish us all luck with our different roles,I know we'd be successful and we'd all come out whole” Cage said.

Mira nodded.

Lucy hugged Cage tightly as he spoke. 

“I love you Cage” Lucy said.

“I love you too Lucy” Cage responded.

His phone buzzed as he stared at it.

“It's time for me to go, I have to meet with the elders” Cage said.

“We'd await your signal while we hang around” Mira replied.

Cage nodded as he held the box in a bag, one couldn't tell it was a box inside it. Pulling his mask, he walked out into the cold. 

It was almost one am. He got into the vehicle along with the security as they drove off.

His heart was beating fast. This was risk and dangerous but so was life.
