Chapter 298

McQueen found the bed with Mira's body on it, except it was covered completely with a sheet.

“Mira, I know you are just sleeping. They where lying to me about you outside” McQueen said as he walked slowly to the body.

He kept talking as he approached the body. The nurse whom was gathering the tools stood away as she stared at him. This wasn't her first time to see people in disbelief. She had experienced this for a while and it was the sad part of her job.

McQueen pulled the sheet covering Mira's face. He could gaze at her beautiful face. Her eyes where shut close as though she was sleeping. 

Her skin was cold to the touch.

“Mira wake up, I've brought food” McQueen said softly.

Cage walked in on McQueen who wasn't accepting the news properly..

“I'm sorry MCQueen, she's gone” Cage said slowly.

McQueen stared at Cage.

“No she's not, don't say such again. She's just sleeping and she'd wake up once she sees food” McQueen said.
