Chapter 37
“You always call me a disgrace! You allow everyone to call me a disgrace in your presence while you are a disgrace!” He blurted out, his chest moving up and down heavily. Lucy furrowed her brows and tried to speak but he didn't give her the opportunity to say anything.
“Never have I! In all our years of marriage Lucy! I have never come home with another woman, nor has any woman come here to visit me, but look at you,” he paused and chuckled.
“Useless men troop in here to see you daily and as if that isn't enough, you spend the night in their houses doing God knows what!” He raged. Lucy had already started to shed tears like a baby.
“Stop it Cage.” She sniffed.
“The truth is bitter, isn't it? Now let this be the last time you ever talk to me in that manner, do you understand? I may not contribute a lot to this marriage but at least I'm not a disloyal liar.”
“Maybe this divorce is the best option after all.” He added, took his laptop and went upstairs.
