Chapter 47

Lucy finally opened her eyes after stretching her body out. She looked around the room like she didn't know where she was before getting down from the bed and entering the bathroom.

She washed her face and stared at her reflection in the mirror.

That day was the day she would finally be separated from Cage. Her marriage was about to end and it didn't sit well with her.

She felt a little homesick and was afraid. She would no longer be married and live a single life after that day.

She took a long shower, got dressed and reassured herself that everything was going to be fine before going to pick up her phone. Her lawyer had called twice already so she called him back.

“Good morning.” She greeted him.

“Finally, I have been calling you. Good morning ma'am, today is a busy day for me and I'd love to know when you want the papers delivered.” The lawyer told her.

She took a deep breath.

“Can you make it this morning?”

“Now?”
