Demetri’s POV

I pull out my phone and dial Jessa’s number. Even though she did a private joining ceremony with us last year, she’s never developed a link with us so I end up having to call her when I need to speak with her. Fortunately, she answers on the second ring.

“Hey Jessa , I heard you’ve been a bit under the weather. How are you doing this evening?”

“Better, thanks. How may I help you?”

“You’re always so straight to the point. Are you busy right now?”

“No. Just finished cleaning up after having dinner with Alpha Pierce. Do you need me to stop by?”

“I would appreciate it if you could come out to the common room. I’ve got a young man, Alpha Cole, who’s a prospect in my medical room upstairs.
