Chapter 82

What have Henry and his goons gotten us into?

“Just keep walking,” Henry tells me their name soon we exit the building and we are back outside, not very far from the runway.

“Is she still following us?” Henry asks one of his bodyguards the question that lingers in my mind.

He searches our tail and I do the same. I don’t see her. But we have to get out of here. She was calling for backup, she would be back here soon.

“Follow us.” The other bodyguard says and they lead us to another door. This one seems more discrete and has the words: EMPLOYEES ONLY written on it.

The guard reaches for the handle and attempts to open the door. It miraculously opens and I let out a breath I never knew I was holding.

“This is usually not what we do. We just simply go through airport security, but you are with us, so we obviously can’t.” He explains and I thin my lips.
