“Quincy Daniels?” She asks and I gulp involuntarily. 

“Yes? Are you Iris?” I ask and I reach out my hands for a handshake, but she only stares at it and chuckles lightly.

“Davina made a huge mistake.” She says as she turns back around and begins to walk towards her car.

“Wait, hold up!” I say as I follow her across the street.

I look back briefly at my father and he waves goodbye to me. “Good luck!” He says loudly and then begins to walk towards his own car.

“Don’t give me orders.” She says and I stop myself from speaking another word.

When she reaches her car, she whips out a key that looks like a small remote and presses a button, causing the car to make a single beeping sound.

She then opens the door to the driver’s seat and I watch her.
