“Quincy.” She says my name somberly. “Just know that my entire life depends on you being the CEO.”

“Are you okay?” I ask her in all seriousness. “Do you need help?”

“The only help I need from you right now is for you to be the CEO of Fantasy.” She says and then she ends the call.

Well, that doesn’t sound good.

She is joking, right?

She must be joking.

I spend the rest of the night preparing for my visit to the company tomorrow. I know I just got discharged from the hospital and I should rest more, but Davina needs me to do this.

And what’s important to her, is for some reason now important to me.

I find a nice suit to wear, after watching a YouTube video on how to dress as a CEO, and also a nice pair of shoes that I have not worn since I bought them.

I also go over the pdf file, studying the highlighted lines.

I later fall asleep with my laptop open on my bed. The night goes by in a blur and soon I am awakened
