When he finally hears Iris, he turns around and smiles brightly.

That’s when I realized that I was seeing a ghost.

The young man walks closer and closer, confirming my suspicions. When he reaches Iris, he gives her a bear hug and she hugs him back.

“You look lovely as always.” He says to her and she rolls her eyes playfully.

“Happy birthday.” He says and then kisses her cheek.

“Thank you.” She mouths without saying the actual words.

I may be jealous of that peck that this man had just given her, but I’m more focused on the fact that my dead best friend is standing right in front of me right now.

He moves over to Jimmy and shakes his hands like they have known each other for ages. The handshake evolves into a hug and I watch them keenly.

Harry, or should I say, Jacob, finally breaks the hug with Jimmy and he walks over to me.
