Chapter 6

Crap, crap, crap!

This is bad. This is bad.

“Jen Davis, you are under arrest. You have the right to remain silent, and everything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.” A huge officer says as he walks towards me carefully.

I watch him, and I can see fear dancing in his eyes.

“Aww, are you afraid of a girl?” I ask loudly, and the officer scoffs.

“Shut up.” He says rudely when he reaches me.

He grabs my hands and turns me around. He then placed on me a cold metal handcuff.

Due to the uncomfortable position, my hands are in, I clench my jaw, trying to mask the pain I’m feeling in my wrists.

“Wait,” Robert says.

Why do I keep calling him by his actual name?

My eyes dart to him, and I can see that he’s staring back at me.

“Where is your boss?” He asks the officer next to him.

There are almost ten officers in this room, and though I am already apprehended, they all still seem to be on their guard.
