Chapter 11

I try to sit down, but the vehicle is moving which makes it hard to do so.

No one is here with me. I’m alone, and for a moment fear begins to creep into my heart, but I quickly shut it out.

I have been kidnapped, but by who?

I swear if Robert has anything to do with this, I will make it my life mission to skin him alive.

“Hey, I think she’s awake.” I hear someone say, but when I look around, I see no one.

“Let me see.” I hear another voice.

My eyes finally land on a small camera at the corner of the ceiling of the van. It looks like it’s motion-detectable.

I try again to sit down. Laying down on this floor makes me feel and look weak. And I am most certainly not.

This time, I am successful. I sit down and lay my back on the wall of the van as the vehicle continues to shake due to movement.

“Hey, Jen Davis, right?” I hear the voice again.

I still can’t see them. They must be driving or at the front of the van.

“Who’s asking?”
