Chapter 78. Exposed

The engagement party had begun and Cassidy had begun receiving guests at the entrance to the mansion. She was extravagantly dressed from head to toe and beaming.

She had to greet the guests alone as Ethan had gone back to his ruse of being a cripple but she preferred it this way, it gave her the opportunity to speak to these people without Ethan's shadow.

The guests scrutinized the decorations and set up. Although they didn't speak, each had the same thought… too much!

The women in particular eyed the wedding decorations and tutted. Some even began whispering.
