I’ve been unable to sneak a peek at my phone. Today has been hella hectic. Even if I managed to sneak that peek, I’d still have to unlock it. Because of Mom, I’ve had to turn off my notifications and will have to access each app to find new messages.

Kaiser is yet to arrive, but he asked that I sit with Faith until he arrives. So far, we’ve been…cool. Just the random conversation of ‘okay’ friends and just asking boring questions.

We’re eating quietly when I recall something that has been bothering me.

“Isn’t it possible to get someone’s number without the person sharing it?”

“Someone in this school?”

“Yeah.”

“Pretty easy,” she says into her food. “Just pretend you lost your phone, have them call you, and 

voila.”

“That’s… that’s not what I meant.”

“Relax. I was only playing with you.” Oh, okay, so? “Everyone’s numbers in here are in the student file.”
