“Ahh! I want to sleep!” I cry as I stretch my left hand to grab my phone. It has been vibrating intermittently since I visited the ladies. I tried sleeping back, but it wasn’t even giving me a chance.

I open my eyes fully and squint them back sharply. The rays of the sun peered through my eyes directly to my eyes. 

“You wanna blind me, huh?”

“I never knew someone talks to herself on Saturday morning,” Kit says as he walks past my room.

I roll my eyes, ignoring him as I clutch my phone. It vibrates again. Who the hell is messaging me like this?

It is the strange number. The strange number from school. The messages say:

“Hey. Good morning.”

“Are you still sleeping? It’s 8 am.”

“I saw you in school. No one talks to Faith except you and that guy… what’s his name? You should make better friends. Like us.”

Us? The ‘us’ that doesn’t even want me to know who the fuck they are. There was one more message:
