“You came,” I hear someone say in a raised voice behind me.
Turning sideways, I find Hannah standing beside me, her back leaning slightly into the bar’s counter. She’s wearing a
very
skimpy flair skirt over a top that is close to being a tank top. Her auburn hair looks like she’s carrying fire on her head under the sun lights of the room.
“Yeah,” I said, a small smile on my lips. I

Currently, according to what I told my mom, I’m at Elle’s (a classmate of mine), both of us working on the group assignment that’s due in two days, and her parents know of this.
