Chapter 14. The Adulterer, Brian Coleman

Nina and Selena were the one who arrived first at the Walters’ mansion. The maid excitedly brought them inside the house.

“Madam, miss Nina and miss Selena are here,” she announced happily the moment they were at the door.

“Nina is here?” Sophie’s excited voice asked from the living room. And before Nina could even make sense of what was happening, she came barreling toward her and hugged her tightly.

“I missed you so much!”

Nina looked helplessly at Selena for help but the latter only shrugged indifferently. Her expression seemed to say, ‘It's your problem, not mine.’

Nina could only turn to look at the woman in her arms who still couldn't stop acting like a child and said with a hint of  helplessness in her voice, “I missed you too.”

“Let me take you to meet my fiancé,” Sophie suddenly raised her head and excitedly grabbed Nina’s hands and brought her inside without waiting for her response.
