Chapter 13. Going to the Walters’ Home

[At Nina’s and Selena’s apartment]

The abrupt ringing of a cell phone sounded in the living room.

It made Selena, who was engrossed in watching a K-drama, turn to check if it was her phone ringing. On realizing it was not hers but Nina’s, she raised her voice toward the kitchen and called out, “Nina, you have a call!”

Nina’s voice also floated out from inside the kitchen as she asked who the caller was.

Selena somewhat unwillingly got up from where she sat and went to pick up the phone placed on the settee. She however paused when she saw the caller ID.

On the other hand, Nina waited for Selena’s reply inside the kitchen for a while but heard no response. Feeling both worried and curious, she could only leave what she was doing and walked out of the kitchen to see what was going on.
