Chapter 74. Uncertainties
Mary sat in the living room, her mind filled with a mix of confusion and suspicion. Lately, she had noticed a change in Sam's behavior—he had been preoccupied, coming home late, and being secretive about his whereabouts. Doubts began to creep into her mind, and a sense of unease settled within her.
