Chapter 85. Trapped in a Cycle of Despair

She stood there for a moment, unable to tear her eyes away from the sight before her. It was as if time had frozen, and the world around her ceased to exist. All she could see was Sevi with that other woman, and all she could feel was the stabbing ache in her heart. 

When they finally pulled apart, Sofia's breaths came in soft gasps, her heart pounding in her chest. She opened her eyes to find Sevi gazing at her with a gentle smile, his fingers still caressing her cheek. 

As the reality of the situation sank in, Mika's anger flared up. She stormed towards them, her emotions raw and unfiltered. "Sevi!" she called out, her voice shaking with hurt and anger. 

Sevi and Sofia broke apart from their kiss, startled by Mika's sudden appearance. Sevi's eyes widened in shock; guilt written all over his face. "Mika, I…" he stammered, at a loss for words.
