Sofia sigh in disbelief, shaking her head. “This isn’t you anymore, Mary,” she said to her, but Mary just ignored her and was scrolling through her phone.
Sofia's words seemed to bounce off Mary, who remained engrossed in her phone, shutting herself off from any further conversation. Sofia sighed, feeling a sense of frustration and sadness for her friend's stubbornness.
