Chapter 106. A Small Mission

Colt’s POV

“If you would excuse us,” I said, getting up. “We had a long day and would like to return to our quarters.”

“Are you sure?” My father asked, looking kind of sad that we would call it a night.

“Yes, father,” Grey said. “We still need to attend to Kate’s room.”

We had cleared all the clutter from Kate’s room and dumped everything in the bin.

Kate couldn’t save the old blankets, and my heart was sore from seeing how sad Kate was.

We promised to take her to replace the bedding in the morning, but we still needed to get replacement bedding for tonight.

“What’s wrong with your room?” Alpha Michael asked Kate.

“Someone broke into Kate’s room and decided to destroy all her belongings,” Sam said.

My mother flinched, surprised. We all expected her to be the culprit, but her scent wasn’t in the room.

It was kind of weird; the scent that was found didn’t even belong to Amy.
