Chapter 156. Smell the Stench

Colt’s POV

“What the f*ck?” Sam growled, surprised, over the link when a horrific scream came echoing down the tunnel.

It could only mean one thing: Kate!

Every hair on my body rose, and the adrenaline in my veins increased, forcing Ray’s legs to run faster.

I need to get to Kate! I need to save her from whoever took her, and I need to end this today!

I slowed my pace as soon as the light at the end of the tunnel came into view.

It wasn’t far anymore, and I could easily be there in just a few seconds.

A familiar scent lingered in the air, and it started to fill my nostrils the closer I got to the end of the tunnel.

My eyes widen, recognizing the smell, and I lift my muzzle in the air to take a deep whiff of my surroundings.

That confirmed it, Rogues!

We were not alone.

And there were quite a few of them sitting down there.

How the hell did they enter the pack undetected?
