Chapter 41. Wear It for Us

Catherine’s POV

I stared at the triplets in disbelief.

Were they seriously considering taking me to the beach for a few days?

Do they have any idea how much work it is to have a disabled person with them?

“That sounds like a great idea,” Grey commented from behind me. “What do you say? Will you go with us?”

Grey walked to Colt’s side so that I could see him.

“Uhm,” I hesitated. “I don’t think it is such a great idea,” I said.

“Why not?” Sam asked, pouting.

“Do you have any idea how much work it is to have a disabled mate?” I asked.

The triplets stared at me in disbelief, then slowly shook their heads.

“Ah!” I said. “You haven’t thought of that, did you?”

“I don’t understand,” Sam said, looking at me as if I had grown two heads in mere seconds.

“Okay,” I said, licking my lips. I needed to let them understand why I needed them to reject me in the first place. They had no idea how much work this was.
