Chapter 147. Guilt

That morning, Alice precipitously prepared herself to go to the office. Although she still felt a little pain in some corridor of her body, she decided to keep working. After all, moment she had to come to Harry’s house first to help her boyfriend get ready. Forgetting for a moment about history’s events, she wanted to try to ameliorate her relationship with Harry.

Arriving at Harry’s house, Alice was surprised to find her boyfriend lying weakly on the bed. snappily, she approached Harry.

“Harry! What happed?” Alice asked frenetically.

Still, rather of answering, Harry looked down and ignored Alice.

“You did not tell me you were sick,” Alice said in a disappointed tone. “I awaited all night for your news, but you just ignored me.”

Harry remained silent, making Alice indeed more confused by Harry’s cold address.

“I came then to help you, but you ignored me. What did I do wrong, Harry?” Alice asked again.

There was still no answer from Harry.
