Chapter 73. Simple Things That Make You Fall in Love

The smell of meat tickled Alice’s sense of smell. She stared at the single portion of steak in front of her with sparkling eyes. The steak looked delicious, plus the puff of smoke that flew over it indicated that this meat had just finished cooking.

The food was served on a shiny black flat plate; some vegetables were neatly arranged on the plate; and there were also French fries complete with sauce and mayonnaise. The cut of meat was also large; as the name implies, this steak was special.

“Looks delicious, doesn’t it?” asked Harry, now holding a fork and knife in both hands.

Alice looked up at the boss’s face and nodded her head, agreeing with Harry. The food laid out before them did look appetizing.

“My stomach is crying out to be filled,” Harry said in a low voice, chuckling.

Alice smiled at Harry’s words. “Just eat it right away, sir,” she said, then picked up the fork and spoon to eat their lunch immediately.
