Chapter 90
Josh's POV
After saying goodbye to Bea and letting her go with Ian, I could not help but feel a deep sadness. Although I truly want to give her what she desires, I find myself unable to do so because I don't want to further complicate an already complex situation. It is a dilemma I brawl with, knowing that Bea longs to be with Ian, even though she tries to hide and deny it. She may put up a facade, but I can sense her true desires. The only thing holding her back is the fear of the consequences and the control her parents exert over her.
I understand that I can never replace Ian in Bea's heart. He is truly a significant presence in her life, and all I can do is be there for her, offering comfort and support. My hope is that, over time, she will begin to make space for me in her heart as well.
