Angelica’s POV

“So, what did Ericson say?” Dylan’s words broke the silence, and I looked at him, perplexed.

Has Ericson already told him what he did with me? Was he asking about that? They were twins. Do they feel the same thing as the other one and Dylan probably felt what Ericson was doing to me? Would that even make sense?

“Hmm?” I asked, unsure how to answer his question.

Dylan looked at me briefly from the corner of his eyes.

“I asked you to call Ericson about the Shepherd’s meeting,” Dylan said, and I clapped my hands, finally relaxing.

“The meeting, yes, I forgot about it,” I said honestly.

Dylan looked at me, a little amused.

“With the kind of reaction you had just now, it almost looked like you were relieved that you forgot about it. Is something going on?” Dylan asked me.
