“Are you hurt somewhere?” Ericson placed Angelica on the couch of the guest house she was living in.

She looked into his brown orbs, which had lightened and looked like they were about to glow.

For some reason, the fear and uneasiness she felt earlier dissipated when he held her close.

It was almost as if his body was releasing some kind of intoxicating pheromones that were calming her hormones and anxiousness.
