Chapter 57. Pure Helplessness
Angelica’s POV
It hurt.
My body was in pain, the fresh wounds from the car crash still bleeding.
My heart ached, the wounds given by Dylan and Ericson like a sharp knife digging deeper into my chest.
And more than that, what troubled me was the realization that I was trapped.
The brothers’ enemy had gotten his paws on me, and I didn’t know what he wanted from me.
I was constantly drifting in and out of consciousness, the helplessness making me curse myself for being so weak.
“Has she not woken up yet?” I heard the same familiar voice and knew Keith had arrived.
