Chapter 9. Eating Together
Angelica’s POV
After knocking twice on the door, I entered the cabin when I heard Sir Dylan saying ‘Come in’ from inside.
“Sir, you needed me -” I paused when I saw the food displayed on the table.
“Have you had your lunch? We ordered food. How could we leave you out after making you work so much?” Dylan sir looked at me with a soft expression, and all my irritation dissipated into nothingness.
“You didn’t have to, sir. I was going to eat in the cafeteria -”
“I told you. We should’ve asked her,” Sir Ericson scoffed, and I sighed before walking to them.
“It’s a good thing I hadn’t ordered anything,” I lied, and Dylan clicked his fingers.
“So it’s all decided. We didn’t make any mistakes. Tell me. How was your first half of the day? Was it bearable?” Sir Dylan looked at me as if I was his long-lost friend, and he wasn’t one of the reasons I was so tired.
