Chapter 14
Heart entered the cafe and went straight to a VIP room occupied by Mr. Montemayor for their meeting. As she entered, the Lord was already inside, drinking his coffee.
“Good day Mr. Montemayor,” Heart greeted while standing in the corner.
“Sit...” Lord Montemayor’s voice is too cold and authoritative.
Heart complies and immediately sits on the other side of the table. While her coffee is being served, Heart does not restrain herself from studying the Lord.
Arthur Montemayor is an epitome of a man with dignity. Although his hair is gray, you can still see the elegance in his sitting on the long couch.
His face is also wrinkled, but it had not diminished the beauty he possessed when he was young.
Heart also found out that the Lord had served in the military for a long time. Perhaps that’s where he got his rudeness and powerful presence.
