(Who is this woman? Why is she calling me Ethan?) Lucas muttered to himself as he opened his eyes.

Because of the hardship of the past year, he decided to end his misery.

“Ethan?! Please talk to mom... I told you I’m not mad at you,” Heart started to feel terrified. Ethan is a bubbly kid, but now ... His deep-seated eyes are dull ... emotionless ...

“My poor boy...” She murmured, and tears started to drift again.

(Tears... Why is this lady crying?) Lucas asked his mind. Her tears were falling on his face.

Lucas was speechless, not because he was scared ... it was because of the woman’s warm embrace.

In the mansion, no one hugs him except his grandma. But this lady ... her hug is warm, and Lucas like it.

“Let’s go home...” Heart whispered and kissed Ethan on the forehead.

Luke was unable to answer; probably due to fatigue, drowsiness, and hunger, he fainted in Heart’s lap.
