Chapter 26

Heart's disposition improves as she takes in the scene of the closed door in the bathroom; now she feels more at ease and less burdened. (Finally! Because of you, all of the struggles that I've been through since we first met have been worth it. Heart whispered something to herself.

(Snap!!!) Without any prior warning, a slap was delivered to Heart's face.

Keep your hand on her cheek, even though it hurts. (Was that a slap you gave me?) She asked herself in disbelief.

"Had you gone mad?! How dare you!"

Heart gently stroked her reddened cheeks as her bright pupils swept over the stunning woman standing in front of her. She sneered all of a sudden, but her eyes were extremely cold and mocking the entire time. "What the heck was that?"

The woman gave the appearance of being afraid that Demon would emerge from the bathroom at any moment as she gave it a quick glance. "You dare to be brazen in front of Demon Montemayor!" she glared at him through clenched teeth.
