Heart's POV

I make my way away from Demon while trying to gather my thoughts. To this day, I'm still puzzled as to why he would want me to be his lover in the first place. She tries her best, but she just can't seem to come up with an answer. I shook my head and said, "If you don't need anything, I'll leave," as I was making my exit. 

"Why don't we make a bet? I have faith that you will acknowledge the validity of my points... Demon makes a remark as he flashes a sly smile across his face. 

Despite the fact that I don't wish to squander any more of my time on Demon's musings, I'm still interested in his train of thought... " Bet? It's possible that you sustained some serious head trauma. In any case, we don't have to place a bet on this because I'm confident in how I feel about it! I inquired while simultaneously raising one eyebrow.

“Really? Demon makes this remark while crossing his arms over his chest and smiling devilishly. He is referring to th
