Heart cast a sidelong glance in Demon's direction and bit her lower lip as she aimed her gun at him. She made the decision to keep her mouth shut.

The expression on Jacob's face changed as he stood there next to her. "Heart, do you feel like you're being bullied by someone? Tell me who it is, and I'll give you the head if you don't!" He makes the declaration while resting Hearts on her shoulder.

"Jacob, you are not required here; therefore, you should return to your nest," The statement, as well as the sweetness between the two, did not sit well with Demon.

"Well, your not dying anyway," Jacob said without raising an objection as he joyfully pulled Heart. "My delight, would you be interested in coming with me? I'll show you around my place when you get here..."
