Chapter 5

Everyone at the party didn't expect this to happen because it was a fancy event. Even though Heart is the perfect example of a funny scene, he still doesn't know what to do.

And with all the noise going on, Demon Montemayor turned to see what was going on.

When he saw the woman on the floor, his eyebrows went up right away. Her mint-green dress was on the floor, and she was holding the rest of her body together with her hands. The demon Montemayor liked how smooth and white her skin was.

But when he thought about how the girl had hit him earlier, he couldn't control his anger. Over the course of a year, Demon never lost his temper in public. Everyone used to like him, but this girl insulted his looks and who he was as a person. She also hit him twice, which no one had ever done before.

Demon Montemayor was about to go back, but he stopped when he saw her sad face. The corner of his mouth then smiled in a sneaky way.

(Why are these people so stupid? Will they just keep an eye on me all night? Mr. Lim, how about him? What is he doing now? Why isn't he coming to help me?

As she looked at the ground, her heart told her. She can't look up because everyone is giving her snide looks. Heart also can't run away because she's afraid she'll rip the seam of her dress.

Just when she had given up, a pair of dark and shiny Louis Vuitton Manhattan Richelieu Men's Shoes appeared in front of her.

Then, when a white suit wrapped around Heart, the coldness in her back went away all at once. She grabbed the clothes right away and wrapped them quickly around her body.

Heart William looked up to thank the kind person who had helped her, but she was met with a pair of fierce eyes. "It's you," he stuttered, staring in shock at the man who helped her. He is Demon Montemayor, to be exact.

Even the other people in the hall couldn't believe it. All of the women who made fun of Heart earlier are now looking at Demon with admiration.

"Why you-"Heart couldn't finish her question, so she looked at the coat that was wrapped around her.

Demon keeps his pride while he raises an eyebrow at Heart's response. He didn't wait for her to say anything else. He told the demon to pick up her heart.

“Ahh!!!” Heart yelled out in surprise. She feels sick because she is too tense.

Everyone in the room was excited to see Demon Montemayor bring a girl to the party on his shoulders. The woman almost cried and prayed that she was the woman in Demon's hand. Because it was a big deal for them to be seen by a Demon Montemayor, and even bigger if he carried them.

Heart couldn't help but look at Demon Montemayor's face while she was in the man's arm. The more he got close to it, the more he saw how perfect it was. The guy has strong jaws and a sharp nose, which make him look sophisticated. His lips are naturally pink, and his eyes are brown. People say that the eyes are the window to the soul, but Demon Montemayor's eyes can turn you on just by looking at you.

(Yes, this man is perfect... He's prettier than me and every other woman I know!!!) Heart says something in her head. Her heartbeat went up all of a sudden... Just looking at Demon Montemayor's face made her feel a butterfly in her stomach.

Heart William was under hypnosis, and she forgot to breathe as she stared at the man.

"Hooker!"

As soon as Heart thinks about the work hooker and the crazy things Demon Montemayor told her in the parking lot, the magical world goes away in an instant.

"Let me go you bastard!" Heart started to fight to get out of Demon's hands. She didn't care about where she was; all she wanted was to get away from the man.

Demon stopped walking but did not let her go. He answers coldly, "If you don't stop, I'll throw you out the window."

As soon as she saw that Demon's eyes could melt everything in her body, her heart stopped beating.

(I can now say that God is unfair...) She moaned to herself that Heart was again going crazy over the man's perfect looks.

Demon grinned when he saw her follow him and kept walking. He kicked the door to the men's bathroom so hard that it opened right away.

Heart was so embarrassed that she hid her face in Demon's chest right away.

She said, "Oh my, his smell is so appealing."

The men there were immediately confused, and some even peed on their pants in a hurry to zip up.

"Get out, right now!" Even though Demon stays calm, his eyes... The man in the bathroom is scared because it's too sharp.

Everyone in the room runs like their lives depend on it. They were afraid of the man who looked like he would kill anyone who didn't do what he said.

Then there's another bang in the bathroom as Demon kicks the door shut.

All of a sudden, there was no sound in the bathroom. It was a very strange silence.

Heart, who was still hiding her face in Demon's chest, got the courage to look up.

"Can you let go of me now?" Heart can hear the shaking in her voice.

Demon looks at her with one eyebrow raised, and then he lets her go without warning. Heart is thrown in the corner of the hand wash by Demon.

"Aahh ..." When Heart felt the cold thing behind her, she couldn't stop moaning. The cold sink hurt her hip, so she rubbed it to make it feel better.

The moan that Heart made, on the other hand, makes Demon look darker. He hears something different in that sound.

"A hooker in a glass—A group like this... Miss, you really are something,"

Heart woke up when he said something sarcastic. "Sir, I'm sorry, but I've already told you that I'm not a hooker... I-"

"Really? Looking like that? I don't believe that," The demon silenced her.

Heart can tell that she doesn't have a reason to fight with him. She grabbed the man's suit quickly and tried to leave.

But Demon won't let her ... He made it impossible... He leaned his arm against the mirror and gave Heart a sly grin. This put her in a corner and made her stop.

"You're going to leave without saying thank you? "Hmm, I still remember every word you say and every insult you threw at me."

She had a heart attack when he said that! Heart knew that this guy wouldn't help her for free!!! When Demon's face got closer to her, she began to feel scared. She can't get away from him because he has her surrounded.

"Sir, I'm just a little girl. I don't know who is good and who is bad in this world." Heart laughed in a dry way.

If she knew that the man she met in the parking lot was the owner of Phantom Corporation, she wouldn't talk back to him and she definitely wouldn't punch him in the face.

"A little girl? You call yourself a child?" Demon's eyes just drift down to her body. His eyes sparkle with a mix of mockery and sarcasm.

When she realized what Demon meant, her heart shook violently.
