Chapter 26
The silence went on forever before the same Dorrick male spoke up, “You are acting so protective of the human, don’t you think?”
“Is that a concern of yours?” the vampire asked in a cool, collected voice.
“That’s against—”
“Do you wish to have a taste of her? You can do that if you so badly want to have her.”
No! This can’t be happening!
I will not allow anybody to touch me.
Just the vampire is enough. I can’t have anybody else touch me.
How can he allow others to touch me?
I thought he cared!
“That’s why I like you, Keline,” the male said before I heard a scrap of a chair and the sound of his footsteps approaching.
“No! Don’t touch me, you beast!” I looked up at the man. Just a sight and a scream tore my throat.
The hideous pale man with yellow eyes made me want to puke.
“Don’t touch me!” I screamed as I got near the vampire’s chair. I felt like merging myself with the chair to avoid having the man touch me.
