Chapter 79. Playing Kyle

I regained my senses and the heat abated after Asher made love to me. Getting up he helped me clean in the bathroom and wrapped his suit jacket around my body.

“So what’s our escape plan?” I asked Asher, leaning onto his chest as held me to himself.

“Just wait; I have everything figured out,” Asher answered, deep in thought.

“Kyle is planning to feed both of us to the demon as the final sacrifice. We can’t let him get his hands on all the moonstones; it will be pure chaos,” I informed him, but Asher remained relaxed. His lips lovingly grazed my blown-out hair.

“I know, don’t worry.”

We were still talking when there was a knock on the door.

“Stay here, Anna. Let me see who it is,” Asher instructed while getting up and walking to the door, confidently. He knew what he was doing.

Opening the door he came face to face with a very enraged Kyle and a bunch of assassins and warriors.

Pushing past him, they barged inside the
