Detective Dave called me earlier to tell me the good news.

She said the forensics said that it would take a month or so to determine the state of the body found but I’m glad it didn’t take that long.

She called me earlier that they found something and that I should head to the station right now.

I’m very glad she’s involving me with the case.

Well, there’s no way she can’t involve me in it when the chief and I are acquaintances.

Since I didn’t take my car to Max’s place, I had to flag down a taxi to the station.

We soon arrived and I paid for the fare before coming out and dashing into the station.

“Good afternoon.” I said to the officer I saw standing by detective Dave’s desk, I’m guessing that’s her partner.

“Afternoon, and you are?” He said with raised brows and I chuckl
