Chapter 17

Rebecca was standing still – her head turned towards Crysler. He holds out his hand for her to grab it. Rebecca hesitated a bit then grabbed his hand. She felt sparks dancing on her skin. Crysler is sitting on the bed. He tapped his side on the bed. Rebecca nodded and then sat in her past place. She took her hand out of his hold. Rebecca is now fiddling with her fingers waiting for him to say something. Crysler on the other side looks very calm. 

“Why did she or you steal from my pack?” Rebecca questioned.

”Was it all planned? Why did she come here asking for help? I don’t know the whole story. But my people gave her shelter and a job due to sympathy looking at her state. No other pack do this gesture.” Rebecca said looking at Crysler’s face. She took a breath.
