The fire just stared back at her, the crackling flames dancing in her eyes.
It tried to cheer her up with its warm embrace, and failed.
The small table beside the cushion she was lounging at holds a cup of her now-cold tea. She didn’t even bother looking at the drink or bothering to drink it at all.
The drink, albeit the fact that it’s herbal and made by one of the High Priestess who is also a Healer from the Night Storm Pack, wouldn’t do anything to help her at all. She wouldn’t even so much as hope it will heal the deeper wounds inside her. Deeper than any wound or stab or scratch.
