Chapter 57. Shattered and Betrayed
Porridge and scrambled eggs seem to be a good start for a breakfast from being a Slave to Omega.
Sasha just glanced to the sky on her way to the dining hall. Just a glimpse, and she can now tell that even the morning sun promises good weather for the day.
The sun had barely crested over the treetops, blanketing the forest floor facing Sasha’s bedroom with streams of liquid gold when Misty knocked on her door that breakfast would be served together with the rest of the Fire Moon Pack—and some of the Shadow Rose Pack, of course.
Sasha scooped up her plate from the counter and strode to where Sorrel and her fellow Omegas seated.
“Thankfully, the ones who are now in charge of cooking are the ones who are off to bed earlier than us,” Sorrel murmured as she blew a breath on her spoon of porridge.
“I bet they also wake up earlier than us as well.”
Sorrel snorted, “Obviously,” then thrusted the spoonful of porridge to her hungry mouth.
