Chapter 104. There Is No Definition!

Holding my hands in hers, a bright beam of light illuminated the room, easing my sorrow. It was strange.

“Are you sure he doesn't love you?” the deity asked gently. “The Alpha... He's the most challenging wolf of all ages; his curse goes against the understanding of any existing God, even the ancestors can't explain... Maybe, Hybrid, his way of loving you is different!”

“I saw him with Agatha, he still loves her.” I whispered softly.

“For wolves, love is different, my child; it's not erased with death,” the goddess pondered. “But it doesn't mean his heart is closed to new loves!”

“I don't understand.” I looked at her, hopefully.

“Of course not, everything happened too fast for you,” she smiled, her ear turning backward. “There's a reason your destinies are entwined; don't give up on it!”

“What's the reason?” I spoke to the air, realizing she had disappeared.

The Alpha stood at the door with arms crossed, his eyes dangerously narrowed.
